At the beginning of this year, with an official announcement, the AFAM General Direction of the Ministry of Education for Universities and Research selected Crea©tivity+I.D.E.A as one of the four events to represent the Ministerial activities regarding the promotion of innovation and creativity in all sectors of society in 2009.

In particular, a study carried out for the European Commission - DG Education and Culture - by GHK Consulting made a list of the most outstanding examples of innovation and creativity, among them Crea©tivity+I.D.E.A; these will all appear on the European internet site of the year for Innovation and Creativity and will be used to promote debates and discussions on creativity and innovation on a European level.

The Crea©tivity+I.D.E.A.’09 programme, at present being planned, proposes a series of appointments, most of which will take place at the Piaggio Museum of Pontedera, in Tuscany, though other places in the town will also be involved this year; these meetings, round tables, workshops, exhibitions and other events offer the chance to discuss design and all its typical applications, as well as judge it according to various cultural filters and settings.
