He graduated from the Florence ISIA (Higher Institute for Artistic Industries)  in 2004 with a research  thesis that aimed to define possible settings for urban mobility in  2015-2020. 

In 2001 he joined  ADUS (Advanced Design University Stage) at the AlfaRomeo design centre (Arese), and in 2002 at the Fiat Auto advanced design centre (Turin).

He has held lectures at the University of Genoa and the Florence ISIA and been teaching in the two-year specialisation course in product design at the Florence ISIA since 2006.

His design activity is characterised by his constant and close collaboration with scientific research centres focussed on encouraging possible technical migrations.

He is a founder partner of the p.èn. lab, with offices in Bologna, Trieste and Florence and the place where  his research and designing experiences converge.
