Angelo Minisci, graduated in Design at the Higher Institute for Artistic Industries in Florence; his thesis was on the innovation of the glass industry in Colle Val d’Elsa, lecturer Arch. Paolo Deganello.

At present he works on project design and is a partner and head of the design sector of the Studio Bl@m Design & Comunicazione; he teaches subjects related to the project and innovation in many schools connected to the world of artistic craftsmanship and design (the Higher Institute for Artistic Industries-ISIA, the Mediterranean Institute of Design, the International Institute of Glass Research of Bolzano, the Degree Course in Industrial Design in Florence, the Laba Libera Academy in Brescia, the Triennial in Milan, etc.). He works as a consultant for specialist projects related to the glass industry in Italy and abroad.
In the design field he has designed several products for Italian companies and carried out research and projects for societies that work on the development of handcrafts (Artex, Ice Firenze, the Region of Toscana etc.). He also follows some National Fairs and is structural head of the technical office of “Tutto Fiere” Italia.

He collaborates with design, art and crafts magazines, with articles related to project subjects. His written texts have been published and his projects presented in various cultural initiatives and exhibitions in Italy (“Abitare il tempo”, “International Crafts Fair”, “Triennial Fair of Milan”, Furniture Show, Macef etc), and abroad, in France, Spain, South America and Japan.

The awards he has won include: 1990 – “First Poster Biennial in Mexico”; 1990 and 1997 – “Esaedro” Award; 1994 and 1998 – Honourable Mention in the “International Luggage design fair” Competition Tooyoka (Japan); 1998 – “Golden Compass” (Milan); 2000 – International Biennial of Applied Art and Design (Rome), 2003 Young Design Award, 2005 Vespucci Innovation and Design Award, Region of Tuscany, 2007 Finalist in the Vespucci Innovation and Design Award, Region of Tuscany.

He continues in his untiring research in the field of design and art for new project ideas and subjects.
